The Senior Choir
Do you enjoy singing four-part harmony? You would be welcomed to join our Senior Choir! We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7 pm until 8:30 pm in the choir room in the church building. Since we work on anthems for several weeks before we present them; sight-reading ability is not a requirement. We lead the 11 am church service with anthems, hymns and other service music. If you are interested, let Mary Ward know.
Occasionally, the Men’s Choir leads the 11 am church service. On the Sundays when they sing, we rehearse before the 11 am service in the choir room. We keep in contact via memos. If you would like to join this group, contact Mary Ward and she will send you a memo, too. The men would be glad to have you in their choir! Contact Mary Ward for more information.

The children sing at both the 8:30 and 11:00 Sunday morning worship services, including Palm Sunday and Easter, as well as at the family service (7:00 p.m.) on Christmas Eve. The Children’s Choir also participates in the annual congregational Christmas program.

Youth Choir sings on Christmas Eve, Easter Day, and a few other Sundays throughout the year. The Youth Choir also teams up with St. John’s New Spirit Praise Band to provide music for Youth Sunday, held in the spring of the year.

Being part of a hand bell choir is like being part of a football team. Each person has a part; and when all the parts blend together, it’s like scoring a touchdown—very rewarding! We usually rehearse on Sundays after the 11 am church service in the sanctuary with extra rehearsals as needed. We ring at the 11am service and other special services throughout the year. Contact Mary Ward for details.
